Sunday, April 13th - Special Offering for FAITHWORKS

Allen Memorial is a founding member of Faithworks, a largely volunteer organization supported by 22 churches in Newton County. Faithworks gives financial help to families and individuals for housing and utility costs. They are hoping to expand their services to include financial management education and job training. This is a once-a-year special offering so please give generously. Of course, if you wish to donate to Faithworks at other times of the year through Allen Memorial, the money will be sent to them.

April 19th - Children's Festival of Creation -

save plastic bottle caps, empty paper towel and toliet paper rolls for the craft project Rosa Lee, our new Children and Youth Director, has planned. May be turned into the church by April 18th.

ONGOING

  • Food for the food pantry - the color of food for the month of April is yellow - so bring some yellow food for the blue plastic containers - corn, squash, garbanzo beans, etc.
  • Campbell soup labels - a collection box is in the vestibule of the Sunday School Building.
