Manning Bible Class meets in the big room , downstairs on the right (north) side of the hall at 9:45.  This class uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies.  There are about 10 members and they enjoy singing hymns.  A pianist to accompany the group would be especially welcome!  Andy Autry and Carlos Meyer teach the class, which also ministers to the sick and shut-ins in the community.

Uncle Nath Class also uses the International Lesson Series.  They meet at 9:45 in their room which is downstairs on the left (south) side of the hall.  The 13 members of the class sit around their table for discussion.  The role of discussion leader rotates on a schedule, so everyone gets a turn to lead.  This group tries to tie the weekly lessons to current events. The spirit of Uncle Nath (an historic local character of some renown) oversees the group from his portrait on the wall.

Richard Hunter Class meets in the room upstairs on the right (north) side of the hallway at 10:00.  Jim Watterson leads the lesson, which is taken from the International Lesson Series of the Adult Bible studies.  There are about 12 class members who have great fun together, discussing the issues at hand, supporting the class prayer list, and visiting home bound members. According to my source, the group has been known to enjoy a good party now and then! 

Seekers Class meets in the room upstairs on the left (south) side of the hallway at 9:45 for fellowship with class beginning at 10:00.  The 10 members of the class choose a book to read and discuss together.  Their current book is entitled What Have They Done With Jesus? and addresses some of the discrepancies between the way Jesus, Mary Magdalene and others are depicted in modern movies and novels, and the way they are revealed through The Bible and historical sources.

Youth Class meets at 9:45a.m. Youth in grades 6-12 study how Biblical themes relate to todays youth.  Contact person is the pastor (770 786-7414).

Early Elementary Class meets at 9:45 a.m.  Kindergarten thru 3rd grade class that studies the Exploring the Faith Bible Studies, do crafts and art and collect their monies for Heifer Project International.  Contact person is Elise Hammond (770 787-3322).  E-mail: emhammond@mindspring.com
