Dear Friends, I want to welcome you to Allen Memorial UMC, where we gather as the family of Christ, Grow as disciples of Christ, and go forth to serve as the body of Christ. Many families have found that Allen is a place to find spiritual refreshment, social fulfillment, and joy in giving. Here lasting friendships are made through fellowship, worship, and Bible study. Our historic church sanctuary was built in 1910 in memory of the Reverend Young John Allen, a Methodist missionary to China from 1860 – 1907. The Oxford College of Emory University is associated with Allen Memorial and it is here where their larger student assemblies are held. We are proud to be an active church with a family spirit.
